A crew of about 35 community food growers from London and Reading met at Grow Heathrow on the 15th September for the CFGN Summer Harvest Jamboree.

It was a great day featuring a tour of grow Heathrow’s amazing site, workshops on seed saving and growing to sell, horticultural games, and the creation of bur-skirt ball – an entirely new seasonal sport involving burs and skirts.
